my isa brown hens are now 6 weeks old - same age as my cornish x giants...but waaaay smaller (naturally). my meat birds have been outside for a week now and loving it!i am wanting to put my egg layers...

If those openings go all the way to the ground they I'd say they could get out by squeezing out. I really don't know about flying....my birds and BIG and the best they can do is kind of hop/fly up...

nope, they dont go all the way to the ground...that is just the cover for the run...not the sides. the sides are okay.lor

well i used the twine (baler twine) to make the holes smaller (now about 5" wide-ish). was a fairly nice day and let just 3 out to start with...they did fine, so we opened the door for all to play,...
